About Bristle & Co.
Spiky when cornered. Warm once you're in.
I grew up in Taiwan and moved to New York for work. Between a demanding day job and a small apartment, I've developed strong opinions about the things that actually make a long week survivable — the chair, the mug, the desk lamp, the pair of shoes that doesn't hurt by hour ten.
I write about those things here, in English for my US audience and in Traditional Chinese for my readers in Taiwan. Both versions are written by me, from scratch — not translated. The zh-TW posts reference momo, PChome, and Taiwan's weather; the EN posts reference Amazon, Wirecutter's blind spots, and the way New York apartments are shaped.
I only recommend things I've either used or researched properly. When I don't know, I say so. When a product is wrong for most people but right for a few, I'll tell you who should skip it. Commissions from affiliate links pay the hosting bill and the occasional coffee — nothing more, nothing less.
